All elected Executive Council members serve a 3-year term and guide the strategic vision of the organization. Elections Results Thank you to all who participated in the 2025-28 Executive Council elections. As a reminder, the following members will be installed to the 2025-28 Executive Council during the Festival of Lights at Convention: Lauren Moran, National President Stephanie Blair, National Treasurer Brenda Christie, National Vice President Crystal Jones, National Vice President Celinda Miranda-LaBella, National Vice President Veronica Atkins Seymour, National Vice President Nominating Committee Process The Nominating Committee is charged with the responsibility to strategically identify, evaluate, and provide a report to the membership for the Executive Council leadership of Sigma Sigma Sigma. The members of the Nominating Committee have influence on the future of the organization and should each be carefully selected. Nominating Committee members need a broad knowledge of the membership and the organization’s mission, vision, and values, including the strategic plan. Applications are now closed. Committee Makeup Executive Council will work to assemble a committee that reflects the diversity of Tri Sigma’s membership and interests. Committee diversity shall include but is not limited to age, geographic location, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, professional experience, and volunteer/leadership experience. It will be comprised of: One (1) committee chair appointed by Executive Council in a process separate from this Nominating Committee application and selection process Five (5) alumnae members One (1) collegiate member Note : All committee members must be in good standing, as verified by NHQ. Current Executive Council and staff members may not serve on the Nominating Committee. Anyone serving on the Nominating Committee may not be nominated to serve on Executive Council. Timeline of Service Executive Council elections are held on a triennium basis and take place in the same year as Convention. The following outlines the nomination process that begins the year prior to a convention year: Early July: Announce Nominating Committee application process and launch at trisigma.org. July 31: Nominating Committee Application closes. Aug. 30: The chair and committee members are appointed by Executive Council and will be notified by the National President. All other applicants will be notified by email from NHQ. Sept. 1: A date and time will be posted on this page for a Conversations with Council to provide a general overview on Executive Council service and answer any questions related to Executive Council service. Mid-October: Nominations/Applications open for Executive Council; Nominating Committee onboarding begins. Mid-November: The Nomination/Application process ends; the Nominating Committee begins reviewing applications. Feb. 28: The Nominating Committee’s candidate list due to the Executive Director in preparation for a formal announcement.

This group of pioneering women set out to create a steadfast bond that has withstood the test of time. 2024 Foundation Annual Report Empowering Women to Change the World The Tri Sigma Foundation provides enduring resources to support the leadership development, scholarship, and philanthropic initiatives of Sigma Sigma Sigma. Our shared vision empowers Tri Sigma women to change the world. In 2023-2024, The Tri Sigma Foundation provided crucial support to Tri Sigma sorority and our members. With your partnership, we’re investing in Tri Sigma women to reach their highest potential and serve their communities through scholarships, leadership programs, and Sigma Serves Children initiatives. LEARN Providing Opportunities for Members Through Academic Scholarships Scholarships offer our members relief from the rising cost of education and make it possible for members to access crucial learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom. The Foundation awarded 38 Tri Sigma women $54,600 in academic scholarships in 2023-2024 to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees. Meet Serena Alaniz Alpha Mu "I’m extremely blessed and grateful to receive this scholarship for my senior year. Paying for college over the years has been challenging. I have had to take out loans because my parents are unable to cover the costs due to my mom’s health issues, which prevent her from working. Receiving this scholarship is going to make a significant impact on my ability to afford school, and I cannot thank the donors enough." This scholarship has provided me with the financial stability to focus on my studies and leadership roles." View 2023-24 Scholarship Recipients The Fowler Family Scholarship Endowed in 2023-2024 Jennifer Rae Fowler, Sigma, endowed the Fowler Family Scholarship to honor her mother, Genevieve June Christoff Fowler, also of Sigma chapter. The Foundation is excited to add this scholarship to the 40 named scholarships currently offered. Learn more about endowing achievement LEAD Empowering Leaders through Sorority Programming Leadership development is a lifelong pursuit for Tri Sigma women. Tri Sigma’s innovative programs are designed for lifelong learning and skill development with emerging leaders, volunteers, and seasoned professionals participating at all levels. The Foundation awarded $42,342 in leadership and educational grants in 2023-24, including: $ 0 The Prevention Institute is an in-person program focused on helping students develop the skills needed to create their own local prevention plan, including chapter retreats to proactively prevent high-risk behaviors within their chapter. $ 0 Each semester, VLS provides engaging, webinar-style programs that offer practical tools members can immediately apply to their life and leadership journeys. VLS is optional and open to all members. $ 0 Set Sail into Service is an eight-month cohort-style educational series designed to prepare alumnae for nonprofit leadership and/or board service. Our legacy of service has grown to include grants for child life programs and financial support for March of Dimes. Support for Sigma Serves Children initiatives is driven by chapter fundraisers and individual donations. $41,898 in Robbie Page Memorial Grants to 9 organizations in 2023-2024 Child Life Program at Endeavor Health Evanston Hospital uses play intervention to support young patients. Under the guidance of Certified Child Life Specialist Katelyn R. Beyer, the Child Life Program at Endeavor Health (formerly NorthShore HeathSystem) has creates a nurturing environment for over 2,000 young patients annually, assisting them in navigating the complex landscape of medical conditions, trauma, and grief through the therapeutic power of play. Robbie Page Memorial Grant funding was used to purchase an array of medical play interventions for children of various ages and developmental stages. Play IV pumps, surgery equipment replicas, and other interactive resources empower children to familiarize themselves with medical equipment and procedures in a safe and controlled environment. This hands-on experience demystifies medical processes and instills a sense of confidence and control, significantly reducing fear and anxiety associated with hospital visits. Children who engage with medical platy interventions exhibit enhanced coping skills, resilience, and a more positive outlook despite their medical circumstances. See List of 2023-2024 Robbie Page Memorial Grants $35,000 donated to March of Dimes in 2023-2024 March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies with goals to end the preventable maternal health risks and deaths, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap.   • Tri Sigma Announces Upcoming NPC Leaders

    Tri Sigma is excited to announce that outgoing National President Joyce Newcom O’Daniel, Alpha Chi–Murray State University, and Courtney Stone-Plamp, Alpha Psi–Eastern Illinois University, will join Tri Sigma’s long legacy of members serving as leaders within the National Panhellenic Conference . Joyce will join the National Panhellenic Conference Board of Directors for 2025-27, beginning July 1.  The NPC Board leads and establishes organization policy, sets strategy, oversees and secures resources, and monitors organizational performance. In this role, Joyce and her six fellow Board members will represent all NPC sorority women, working to advance the sorority experience together. A retired mortgage loan officer, Joyce brings with her a long history of service to Tri Sigma, including four terms on Executive Council and other various leadership roles such as Phoenix Alumnae Chapter President from 2008–11. She has also served as NPC Area Advisor and 1st Alternate NPC Delegate for 10 years.  Courtney will be installed as our NPC Delegate and ex-officio member of Tri Sigma’s Executive Council during Convention for the 2025–28 triennium. In her role, she will guide policy and represent Tri Sigma during NPC legislative changes, oversee the volunteer Panhellenic Team, foster collaboration among member organizations, and ensure Tri Sigma adheres to the NPC Unanimous Agreements. Courtney has served Tri Sigma in a variety of roles, including two terms as National Vice President, President of the Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Chapter,   and most recently as chair of the 125th Anniversary Celebration in 2023. In her professional life, she is Chief Operating Officer and board director for Level 10, an IT solutions provider, where she has worked since 2011.  The NPC is led by a Council of Delegates consisting of one delegate from each of NPC’s 26 member organizations and a Board of Directors consisting of seven elected directors—five elected and two appointed by their member organization on a rotational basis. This structure is intended to ensure greater resources for priorities ranging from recruitment and membership growth, enhanced data collection and communications efforts advocating for the sorority experience. Tri Sigma would like to thank Linda Manley-Kuitu, Epsilon Rho–Minnesota State University, Mankato (pictured above with Joyce), for her extensive NPC service—including the past six years as our NPC delegate. Learn more about her and what comes next for Linda in the upcoming 2025 issue of The Triangle.  The National Panhellenic Conference is the umbrella organization specifically charged with advocating on behalf of the sorority experience. It is comprised of 26 national and international sororities that are autonomous social organizations. Collectively, NPC sororities are located on more than 670 campuses with nearly 5 million collegiate and alumnae members.

    Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, also known by its brand name of Tri Sigma, has announced it has no affiliation with or connection to the recently launched cryptocurrency that shares its brand name.     "Since 1898, Sigma Sigma Sigma has been dedicated to empowering women through lifelong sisterhood, leadership development, and service," said Jenna Martin Pendry, Tri Sigma’s Executive Director. “We want to be clear that Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority has no connection to, nor do we endorse, any cryptocurrency products or services.”    Founded in 1898 and headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority has more than 143,000 collegiate and alumnae members worldwide.   • Tri Sigma Announces New Partnerships

    Tri Sigma continues its organization-wide commitment to diversity and inclusion with the announcement of two new partnerships. Timothy J. Fair has a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University, and is currently working at Auburn University as the Chief of Staff for the Office of Inclusion and Diversity. Ada K. Wilson has a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and also works for Auburn University in the Office of Inclusion and Diversity as an Assistant Vice President for Access and Inclusive Excellence. Mr. Fair and Ms. Wilson will be working with Tri Sigma to develop a comprehensive cultural competency training module and training materials for undergraduate students, alumnae, volunteer leaders, and staff. Mr. Fair and Ms. Wilson will also help us measure the overall impact of these training efforts, and both will help create and lead our new national diversity and inclusion committee. “We are grateful to have Tim and Ada, who are clearly experts in the field of diversity and inclusion, help guide us and provide a framework for creating awareness and education, and to help us cultivate the kind of actions and attitudes that align with the values, principles, and policies of Tri Sigma,” said Marcia Cutter, Executive Director.
