Since launching the Tri Sigma Foundation’s first comprehensive campaign at our 47th National Convention in June 2025, members have stepped up with passion to invest in Tri Sigma’s future.
They Did. You Can. We Will. invites every member to consider the lasting impact Tri Sigma has made in their lives. From our eight young Founders in 1898 to the newest sisters joining in 2026, our sorority has uplifted, inspired, and empowered generations of women.
WOMEN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
We are deeply thankful for the generous donors who have already pledged their support. These trailblazers are redefining what it means to give back, fueling the innovative resources our sisters need to thrive now and for generations to come. See the inspiring individuals making their mark within Tri Sigma.
PROGRESS BY THE NUMBERS
As of Feb. 1, 2026, the Tri Sigma Foundation has raised $8,612,813 toward this historic campaign. Here’s a snapshot of our current campaign commitments:
Restricted Use Funds (8%): Gifts earmarked to support specific areas, such as scholarships, sorority program grants, and other initiatives aligned with our mission.
Ever True Fund (24%): Unrestricted gifts that support our entire mission and can be used where most needed at any given moment.
Estate Gifts (68%): A deferred commitment to include the Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, trust, estate, or life insurance plans. Though funds only become available after the donor’s passing, commitments of this kind provide long-term security and enable us to plan confidently for tomorrow.
While deferred commitments secure our future, gifts to restricted-use funds and the Ever True Fund empower us to meet urgent needs and make an immediate difference.
CURRENT IMPACT
They Did. You Can. We Will. is a campaign with impact that resonates today and will echo into tomorrow. Thanks to the generosity of our members, the Tri Sigma Foundation is already turning vision into action:
Increased Leadership Training
We are truly grateful for the chance to expand our investment in the sorority’s leadership and educational programs. Because of your support, the Foundation has boosted funding for transformative opportunities like The Academy for collegiate leaders, Competency Certifications for every collegiate member, and Virtual Leadership Seminars for both alumnae and collegians.
We are also thrilled to announce a new chapter in leadership and education: The Julie Lammel Leadership Endowment. This fund will provide grants to chapters, opening doors to educational opportunities and leadership training. Discover how you can endow excellence.
Greater Scholarship Support
Since the campaign’s quiet launch in July 2023, donors have made it possible to endow six new scholarships, offering annual awards to Tri Sigma members. This investment is already opening doors for collegiate women, celebrating achievement, and making college more accessible. The six new endowments are:
The Fowler Family Scholarship
The Paula M. Gillis Memorial Scholarship
The Minoski-Runac Family Scholarship
The Joyce Newcom O'Daniel Scholarship
The Kaye Schendel Scholarship
The Winnie Warner Alpha Beta Scholarship
Mental Health Support and Personal Development Resources
Mental health is one of the most pressing challenges young women face today. Thanks to increased campaign support, the Foundation has invested in the sorority’s Health Promotion Program and Mental Health First Aid, empowering members to care for their own well-being and confidently support others.
With these programs, Tri Sigma is closing the gap between what our members need and what campus resources provide. Together, Tri Sigma and the Foundation are dedicated to nurturing well-being through focused initiatives and expanded support. Explore Tri Sigma’s Culture of Caring.
