Tri Sigma Mourns the Passing of Collegiate Member Ally Blattner

Tri Sigma is deeply saddened to announce that Alexandra “Ally” Jean Blattner, a member of the Epsilon Kappa Chapter at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, entered Omega Chapter on Feb. 5, 2026, as the result of a skiing accident. She was a 2024 graduate of Neenah High School in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Ally was initiated into the Epsilon Kappa Chapter on March 16, 2025, and was a sophomore studying pre-nursing and psychology. In addition to serving on her chapter’s Honor Council, she was also Vice President of Recruitment for UWO’s College Panhellenic Council and served as a Senator for the Oshkosh Student Government.

“We are all so lucky to get to call Ally our sister. She not only made an impact in our lives but all across our campus community,” said Epsilon Kappa Chapter President Tori Deptula. 

Tri Sigma’s national staff has been working with volunteers, the Chapter President, and local alumnae chapters to ensure members receive support during this difficult time. We wish to extend our appreciation to the university for providing space for our members to gather and ensuring grief counseling services are available for members. 

“During this tragic and heartbreaking time, our hearts are with Ally’s family and her sisters at our Epsilon Kappa Chapter,” said National President Lauren Moran. “As they navigate this unimaginable grief, it is my hope they will find comfort in knowing Ally’s compassion and leadership will forever inspire all who loved her.”

A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton, WI. In lieu of flowers, her family requests a donation be made in Ally’s name to the Tri Sigma Foundation or March of Dimes. Her obituary may be read here.
