Career Launchpad Series

Tri Sigma has partnered with Careerhouse to equip collegiate members with the tools they need to confidently launch their careers.

Whether you're applying for internships, preparing for your first full-time job, or simply wondering what comes next after graduation, the Career Launchpad Series provides practical tools to stand out in today's job market.

This interactive workshop hosted by Lindsay Boccardo is designed to help collegiate members prepare for life after college. From resume refinement to job search readiness, the Career Launchpad Series walks members through the four steps to design a career and equips them with the confidence to take their next professional step.

Members will participate in two 60-minute virtual workshops that include breakouts and time for Q&A.

  • Workshop 1: Wait…What Am I Doing With My Life?

    Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET

What do you want to do with your life?

It's one of the biggest questions we'll ever be asked and one of the hardest to answer.

Most people hear it and immediately freeze. They either dust off whatever they wanted to be in seventh grade, throw out "influencer" without a game plan, or panic because they have no idea what comes next. Then reality sets in: What if I choose wrong?

Whether you're exploring your first career step, searching for an internship in a new city, or simply trying to figure out what's next, it's easy to feel overwhelmed because the question itself is too big.

Here's the good news: you don't have to figure out the rest of your life. You just need enough clarity to take your next right step. This session will help you discover what matters most to you, identify the strengths you already have, and build a career direction you feel confident moving toward.

    Participants will:

    • Understand the four stages of career design and identify where they are in the process.

    • Avoid the "apply to everything" trap by creating a focused career strategy that takes 10 minutes a day.

    • Translate leadership, volunteer, work, and campus experiences into skills that employers are looking for.

    • Learn how to use their resume strategically.

    • Develop a personalized action plan with practical next steps for continued career exploration and preparation.

  • Workshop 2: Now Let's Get You Hired

    Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET

You have a clearer picture of where you want to go. Now it's time to start opening doors.

Finding the right opportunity takes more than submitting applications. It requires a thoughtful strategy, the confidence to tell your story well, and a professional presence that helps employers see your potential.

In this session, participants will learn practical job and internship search strategies, prepare for common interview questions, strengthen their LinkedIn presence, and create a realistic plan for taking the next steps toward meaningful career opportunities.

    Participants will:

    • Develop a job and internship search strategy.

    • Understand how to network and stay authentic to themselves.

    • Practice answering common interview questions with confidence.

    • Create a practical plan for pursuing opportunities one step at a time.

    • Learn how to avoid leaving money and flexibility on the table.

    • Leave with the confidence to pursue your next opportunity.

Additionally, every participant will receive a digital companion workbook before the first session to use throughout the experience. It includes guided exercises, reflection prompts, templates, and space to build your own career game plan. You'll also discover bonus tools, resources, and activities that go beyond what’s covered in the live workshops, giving you even more ways to explore your next steps at your own pace.
