Empowering Achievement

The Tri Sigma Foundation has awarded over a half a million dollars in scholarship aid to members.

The Foundation provides annual graduate and undergraduate scholarships to deserving alumnae and collegians. Foundation scholarships are merit-based, recognizing outstanding academic achievement, and needs-based, recognizing members that are in need of financial assistance.

Any Tri Sigma can apply for a scholarship, which range from $500 to $5,000, depending on the amount of funds available. Annual scholarship applications are due by February 28 of each year.

Foundation scholarships are awarded each September for use in that academic year. The 2021-2022 scholarship application process will open January 2021. Online applications will be due by February 28, 2021.

Establishing a Scholarship Endowment

  • A scholarship can be established with a gift of $25,000, payable over a five-year period.
  • A scholarship can be established by an individual donor, family, chapter, or group.
  • The donor can choose to keep the scholarship open to all Tri Sigma applicants or designate your scholarship for specific chapters, fields of study, undergraduate or graduate students, or for applicants based strictly on financial need.
  • Scholarship assets are professionally invested and managed under the supervision of the Tri Sigma Foundation Board of Directors.
