Character Essay Contest – Open to all Tri Sigma Alumnae
The Character Essay Contest is open to all Tri Sigma Alumnae. The essay theme for 2018 is: What does it mean to live as a woman of character in a climate of conflict? Whether it challenges our values or influences our actions, the impact of conflict can be felt around us and within. Be specific in your narrative. Click here for a flyer with more information including how to submit your essay.
Up to two winners will be chosen and will receive $250. The winning essays will be announced and published on our website during National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week in October and will be published in the spring issue of The Triangle.
Celebrating Women of Character is part of our mission and something we are committed to sharing in and outside of Tri Sigma. This contest arises from our commitment to developing strong womanly character through our character education initiative. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating what you are doing in your communities to make this world a better place.
Additionally, on October 1 we will kick off a month-long celebration to encourage discussion and education on character and conflict resolution. You can follow us or share your character stories using #WomenofCharacter.
