In recognition and support of National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week October 21-27, 2018, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority is sponsoring a Character Essay Contest. Any collegiate member who is enrolled full-time and an active member may enter the contest. Any other Panhellenic women on your campus who are enrolled full-time also qualify to enter the contest.
The essay theme for 2018 is: What does it mean to live as a woman of character in a climate of conflict? Whether it challenges our intrinsic values or influences our actions, the impact of conflict can be felt around us and within. Be specific in your narrative. Click here for a flyer with more information.
Three scholarships will be awarded during National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week to the 1st ($1,000), 2nd ($500) and 3rd ($250) place winners.
Celebrating Women of Character is part of our mission and something we are committed to sharing in and outside of Tri Sigma. This contest arises from our commitment to developing strong womanly character through our character education initiative. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating what collegiate sorority women are doing in our communities to make this world a better place.
