Kaye Schendel National President The National President provides overall guidance to the Sorority and gives directions for all endeavors; supervises the work of all officers. Kaye Schendel is a member of Gamma Phi chapter at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She has served Tri Sigma most recently as the Coordinator of Programming and Assessment and is a Mabel Lee Walton Award recipient. She serves as the Vice President for the Center for the Study of the College Fraternity. Kaye lives in La Crosse, WI, with her husband, David. They share their home with their pug, Rocket. She is employed by Delta Upsilon Fraternity as the Director of Global Initiatives. Golf and reading are two of her favorite hobbies. Email: kayeschendel@gmail.com |

Bonnie Rainey National Treasurer The National Treasurer works closely with the National President, Executive Director and the National Vice Presidents to set the strategic direction of the entire organization, ensuring that the organization's operations are consistent with the mission, vision, and core values. Executive Council members are charged with having strategic conversations to position Sigma Sigma Sigma for success today and tomorrow. Bonnie was initiated as an Alpha Sigma at the University of Southern Mississippi where she majored in Spanish and Political Science. After obtaining her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Mississippi College School of Law, Bonnie has spent the past 30 years as an estate planning and trust administration professional. She is Managing Director and Regional Trust Executive for U.S. Trust Company, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, and is responsible for the fiduciary practice for Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico Region. She has served Tri Sigma as Vice Chairman of the Foundation, Membership Development Coordinator and Risk Management Director. Elizabeth Hoffert National Vice President Elizabeth Wakeman Hoffert previously served on Executive Council from 2004-2007 as Alumnae Vice President. Liz joined Tri Sigma at our Beta Xi chapter at Southeast Missouri State University. She is currently a member of the Phoenix Alumnae Chapter, but has belonged to the St. Louis, Chicago North Shore, and Northern New Jersey Alumnae Chapters. As she moved around the country for her job Tri Sigma sisters have always made her feel welcomed in her new city. She retired in 2010 after 41 ½ years with Insurance Services Office which included 13 different positions and 8 offices. Liz has served our sisterhood in a variety of positions, including serving twice on the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation board for a total of 11 years. She has also held several positions in the Alumnae department, served as Bylaws chairman in 2001 and Convention Secretary in 2004. Liz was awarded the Emily Gates Alumna Achievement Award in 1992 and was recognized as a Woman of Distinction at our 2010 convention. Liz currently lives in Phoenix with her husband Fred and they are enjoying being near their daughter Lynette and their 2 granddaughters. She volunteers several times a month at St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance which is the country's first food bank. Travel and cooking are other activities she enjoys. Email: ehoffert@juno.com |

Emily Ellis National Vice President Emily Eure Ellis is a member of the Gamma Beta chapter at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She has served Tri Sigma as a Chapter Advisor, Collegiate Coordinator, Area Director and on Tri Sigma’s NPC Delegation. Emily lives in New Bern, North Carolina. She is employed at Coastal Carolina Community College as Director of Student Activities and Disability Counselor. Emily is active with the MS Society and advocates for those with disabilities. Bethany Deines National Vice President Bethany A. Deines, National Vice President, joined the Beta Kappa Chapter at Arizona State University in 1987. She has served Tri Sigma since 1992, beginning as a National Collegiate Chairman. Beth was elected in 2004 as the Publications Vice President and transitioned to Membership Development Vice President in 2006 to fill the position when it was vacated and was re-slated for that position for the 2007-2010 triennium. Prior National Officer positions include service as the Executive Director, a member of the Walton House Board of Directors, National Ritual Director, National Scholarship Director, and Director of College Panhellenic Services. Beth has been a frequent facilitator at both Tri Sigma and interfraternal conferences. She is employed as the Director of Annual Gifts for The Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, OH. Beth is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Fraternity Advisors. She currently resides in Hamilton, OH, with her two cats, Francis and Spencer. Allison Swick-Duttine National Vice President Allison Swick-Duttine joined the Psi Chapter at Marshall University in 1991. Allison lives in Plattsburgh, NY, with her husband, Matt. She is employed as the Director of Fraternity/Sorority Life and Organization Development at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She serves as the Past-President of the SUNY Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Association, a volunteer for the Association of Fraternity Advisors and on the Board of Directors for HazingPrevention.org and the Northeast Greek Leadership Association. Allison also serves as a Co-Coordinator of the Plattsburgh Campus/Community Partnership and is a member of the Campus/City Coalition. Allison enjoys books and movies and loves cooking and antiquing in her spare time.
